Bio

Growing up on the East Coast, John Spensieri was musically influenced early on by the likes of Roy Orbison, The Everly Brothers, Gene Pitney, The British Invasion and the Motown Sound.

After arriving in Phoenix in 1978, John was soon introduced to Country & Western. He fell in love with the music of singer-songwriters Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Dwight Yoakam, Johnny Cash and others. His friends, who played in a local band, The Two Week Notice Band, often invited him to sit in and sing a few songs when they performed. And that is when John discovered his passion for singing and entertaining.

John’s love for many types of music genres continues to grow and is reflective in his current set lists, including: Rock & Roll, R&B, Motown, Blues, Folk & Southern Rock, Country & Western and much more.

His extensive and eclectic list of artists and genres provides easy listening covers to most any room or venue, customers, patrons and demographics.
